Let’s take a look of this comparison table to know which is better, the egg white or the egg yolk.

As you can see on the table, most of the egg’s nutrients are found in egg yolk. There is no problem if you eat several egg yolks every week as long as you don’t have any cholesterol problems. Egg yolks are also rich in Omega-3 which is good for the heart. Since a regular egg contains a 213mg amount of cholesterol and it can all be found in the yolk, then you can limit your cholesterol intake by avoiding other foods that are high in cholesterol.

Vegetables are good substitutes for meat if you want to limit your cholesterol intake. High-fat dairy products are very high in cholesterol and that’s they must be avoided. Eating egg whites is also essential if you don’t want extra cholesterol since it does not contain any amount of cholesterol. Using 1/4 cup or two egg whites instead of one whole egg can also help in reducing cholesterol in recipes that require eggs as an ingredient.
