Cream of Peach Palm Fruit (pewa, pejibaye, pixbae) Recipe

SERVES: 4
 

INGREDIENT: 

  •  4 units of  peach palm fruit, 
  • 1 1/2 cups of chicken  consome, 
  • 1 cup cream, salt and pepper to taste, 
  • 1/4 tablespoons  all-purpose flour, optional croutons.

DIRECTION:  

Peel the  peach palm  fruit (pewa, pejibaye, pixbae) then cut them in pieces and mput em  together with the chicken consome in a mixer for a minute, then heat em  up slowly in a pan and add the cream if needed thicken it up a bit with  the all-purpose flour  stir well and serve hot, optional add some croutons on top or some fresh  minced parsley.
 

NOTES: Serve  wit fresh country style bread.
